Copper Supreme Special Blend – Lead Free is the answer to the environmental restrictions and exposure concerns associated with the use of lead and zinc drill collar/tool joint thread compounds.
Contains a high percentage of copper flake combined with a proprietary blend of amorphous and synthetic graphites, suspended in a high temperature base grease.
Also contains a soluble extreme pressure package that is surface active (adheres to metal surfaces) and helps to provide the load carrying capability required by the high bearing stresses present in rotary shouldered connections.
