UNDERGROUND HOSE REEL

The MTi Group UNDERGROUND HOSE REEL is a complete air service unit allowing for use of MTi  BLASTBALL™  or BLASTBAG AERO™  plugs. It includes an inflator/deflator and 50 meters of Teflon lined thermoplastic hose complete with anodized crimps to indicate depth. Measurements are available in both metric and imperial. The gauge goes up to 35 PSI, allowing for faster reading of inflation pressure for MTi’s BLASTBALL™ or BLASTBAG AERO™  products.

Located on the end of the hose is a MTi Aero Weight with our patented coupling for connection to BLASTBALL™  or BLASTBAG AERO™ . The system can significantly save on preparation time for down hole breakthroughs in stoping operations and vertical crater retreat.

Application

The UNDERGROUND HOSE REEL contains pneumatic valving to provide reliable control for both inflation and deflation. Specifically designed for connection to mine air the UGHR is a plug and play product which comes standard with a ½” BSP female thread. The system is used to Inflate BLASTBAG AERO™ and BLASTBALL™ using MTi Group’s patented coupling. The improved Aero Cabinet is easier to use with the orientation changed to its side. This allows for the Aero Cabinet to be better protected from damage, while allowing the operator to read the gauge at the same time as pressurising the system.
