Van Ruth Hold Up Plug

The Van Ruth Hold Up Plug are designed as a safety feature against water or tooling existing the drill rod. The plug is particularly effective as a safety feature when drilling an up hole in an underground environment, such as allowing an operator to safely pull rods when there is a problem in the hole, such as a stuck inner tube.

Instructions for Use:

• Insert the plug into the drill string
• Use the water pump to pump the plug upward or downward in the drill string
• Plug will lock itself in the drill string when it reaches an obstruction in the hole
